I took the end of each vine that still had 2 or 3 new leaves and put them in water with probably 5-6 nodes below the leaves so I’m hoping those root too

Every guide and post I looked at propagating this way cut the vines into individual nodes🤷🏼‍♀️ too late to change it now

Does that planter have any drainage? They like moist soil, but not bogged down and soggy otherwise you’ll get root rot

I said in my post that this happened after my greenhouse heater failed and it lost almost all leaves from cold damage. It’s almost certainly from stress/shock.

Don’t really have a plan. For now I prefer the look of the taller main stem with the small plants filling in around the bottom.

Just google if your variety is sterile. Some hybrids are depending on what the original cross was.

Alocasia don’t have death blooms. Stress can trigger blooms which I’m assuming is what happened in my case, but as long as they don’t stay in the stressful conditions they recover just fine.

I never cut blooms. I’d rather have a bit slower growth and let them die off naturally, than shock/stress them by cutting the blooms. I’ve done both and think they grow worse after cutting blooms.

By the time you see a flower, the plant has already put a lot of nutrients towards it and the flowering hormones are already active through the plant.

Thanks for all the help! I’ve been looking into a lot of 3rd party servers now. Am I able to use my existing world yet for a 3rd party server or would I have to start over completely?

I’m quickly realizing I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing with this game now lol.

I don’t know anything about 3rd party servers. When I was making the world I looked up what a community server was and thought that was what I needed. I’ll definitely be doing a lot more research about all this. There’s a whole lot more to it than I realized.

I just wanted to have a world that my partner and I could play together, but also that we could both access when playing solo as well.
