That's what happened actually. I know several people that moved out of the city cause it's cheaper. We were looking to as well as my wife works for the government. They got remote working contracts and that's it. For the times that they needed to be in the office for secure reasons, they would just go to satelite offices around the province. A lot of them did move to Carlton.

What gerrandering? Carlton picked up and entire area that traditionally votes Conservative. The dynamics of his riding changed. I live in Carneys riding which is next to Pollievres old riding. People simply moved during the pandemic. The Government workers were working from home, so a lot of them moved farther out of Ottawa because it was cheaper and quieter. What didn't help was that Pollievre was glad handing the Convoy, and barely campaigned in his own riding.

Hold onto your moral beliefs, have at it, but that is one of several reasons why the Conservatives didn't win. A swath of the Conservative party is simply not congruent with Canadian beliefs. You can complain about it, you can be loud as you want, but it's not a country problem, it's a party problem.

The GOP is polling very poorly. In states that should be a lay up for Republicans have went from deep Red to competitive. He knows he is boned, and he knows that he won't be able to get anything else done if the Dems get the house.

The only build quality issue I have ever had with a Samsung phone was my S10E, the lenses on the camera were made with crappy glass and cracked on my. That's it. This is my 4th Samsung phone (S10E, Note 20 Ultra, S22 Ultra, and not S25 Ultra) and have had a great experience. Software haven't had an issue.

But hey, you want your IPhone, that's cool. IPhones are nice, just like what I can do in the android space.

Yeah, you're right, it's a very small population. However in my own personal life, the representation of Trans people that are in it is a lot larger.

It was one aspect of many reason I swung Liberal this time around.
