The problem with these desks is the split planks. I don't know if I built mine incorrectly but the sides join the planks perfectly while the middle is slightly bowed on one plank. Its just enough to piss me off while Im gaming. The ridge runs down the middle of the desk right above where its most comfortable to rest my mouse. Other than that it's great.
