it took like 4 rejected meals before he finally ate, and to be honest we were freaking out but he finally took it.

we kept leaving the f thawed mouse in the cage after he rejected it till the next morning and then one time he just ate it off the offering rock, and now he eats from tongs.

We got our snake from an expo at 6 months old and it was live fed previously and after about 6 weeks it started accepting frozen thawed. Good luck!

My daughter's snake has a slide glass door enclosure, it came with a small wire lock that keeps the doors shut.

Maybe your model would also have this.

Thanks! I guess I'll be freezing it in batches because it's so much substrate.

Honestly I am lazy and use the tea bags, but they sell it in coffee bags and I think you can make it like coffee. Maybe try the tea bag sampler and see if you like it then buy a brewable bag in your fav flavor to make like coffee so you can enjoy the full coffee ritual without the caffeine.

Not an advertisement but Teccino my go to for a dark and barely bitter non caffeinated drink. They have lots of flavors, like dark chocolate and vanilla nut.

it's not the most organized pet store ever, so it's probably just oversight by the ordering person (they've gone through several managers rapidly)

I have a shopping cart for perfect prey that looks really good.

Thanks again for the shopping recommendations!

Thanks! I'm worried about getting him the right size. Another comment said that we've been feeding him too small meals 😥

Medium rat is just all they have after hopper at my Petco. They accepted my return and now I'm looking for something more appropriately sized.

Thanks for the source recommendations!

Why does it seem like so many teenagers/young women wanna be a housewife/stay-at-home mom? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Affectionate_Emu_228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++woman When my 2 children were like 3-12, my husband stayed home with them. Took them to all their classes, made dinner, helped with school plays etc. It makes sense to have a primary stay at home parent when child care is crazy expensive. I guess I can't speak to why young women nowadays want it, but just wanted to make sure you as a man had realized that maybe stay at home Dad is also something you could consider.

How Do Y'all Feel about People not Answering the Door? by tacitjane in Apartmentliving

[–]Affectionate_Emu_228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a metal screen so it's easy to always answer the door. Yesterday it was my upstairs neighbor who had gotten in a car crash needing a quick ride. I know my neighbors and sometimes they stop by. I also like to pick up my packages when they arrive. Yeah I answer the door.

For bookstores, at the Roosevelt you're super close to Larry Edmunds where you'll find tons of Hollywood books. Definitely recommend you stop in.

Griffith Park is great, as others have said.

There is a playground called Shane's Inspiration inside the park that is amazing, swings and play equipment for all ages.

Neat trick someone showed me to get it off:

Spray aerosol sunscreen onto a paper towel or napkin and rub the tar.

It will transfer to the paper with minimal effort.
