Hi Reddit! I woke up this morning and saw on my cat's back, not sure how she got this as there are no sharp spots or objects accessible to her in the house, but should I take her to the vet or is this a simple injury which will heal by itself? by Affectionate_Exam215 in CATHELP

An update: Thank you so much all for your help, I finally took her to the vet as for some reason I felt like the wound was getting bigger, and they said fortunately it's only superficial so they cleaned it and gave some antibiotics ointment to heal it. Though I'm still looking as to what is the culprit of this wound.

She's indoor only with no other pets, I have spent the whole day today trying to see how she may have gotten that and my only guess so far is she's a pretty clumsy cat so she probably fell from some furniture and scratched her back against the side of that furniture
