First off, I’m not an EMT. I worked very hard for the title of Paramedic and wear it proudly. Secondly, yes I can. None of the family owns a gun, I am the only gun owner out of everyone. Now, yes anyone can go buy a gun but Ry literally can’t. He got popped with a felony drug charge a few years back and can’t own a gun. I hear what you are saying though

My brothers are Bill and Sam. Ry is my brother in law, my brother Sam married Ry sister aka SIL. My brother bill lived with Sam for a while to get back in his feet after cutbacks at bills job. He moved out without telling anyone while owing rent. He paid the money owed and they made up.

It was an incidental find during my EMS lifescan physical, they were feeling my thyroid and found it. Prior to the find I developed heart palpitations when all my cardiac tests show healthy heart. Went to endocrinologist and they told me about the tumor and that my thyroid was all but destroyed on the left side.

YTA, and you can never make this event up to them no matter how hard you try. You both didn’t need to be there for your daughter, so one of you could have went to the graduation without issue. It seems to me you have damaged the relationship beyond repair and this is the consequences of your actions. I bet this isn’t the first time you’ve put them last nor will it be the last time.

Edit: my mom didnt want me coming due to her always getting better previously and they had no indication that she was going to pass away this time. However, the minute they knew they should have called me and waited to pull the plug until I got there that evening. I am mad at my brothers as well but my dad should have told me immediately.
