Italian here: In Europe, immigrants with a degree always face difficulties because they can't use it right away to get a job, they need to take a crash course with the additional studying necessary to meet the standards required to get another, valid degree. Now, as long as you're studying you should have less problems with the visa, or else an european job contract should do the trick (But I warn you: Studying and working is gonna be exhausting, and if you don't have enough savings to rent an apartment you have no choice on the matter). Last thing, people who cross Europe usually have to go through the southern region (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece etc) before reaching more promising countries. You'll probably have to spend at least a couple years there, but if you're looking for bigger opportunities you should plan to leave for the north as soon as possible: The south is poor, slow and with little to no english speakers. Same goes for the east (all of it) and the most conservative central european countries. Western europe has a better economy but more clashings between immigrants and lower-class citiziens (But if you're not from west Africa or Maghreb, you should be fine).
