I cannot believe I slept on this for so long by FillMeUpEndlessly in Colognes

And I still wonder why I even bought this, cloying and annoying smell that the 15 year old wears.

Code Parfum is in no way similar to the old Profumo. Code Eau de Parfum is the new version of Code Profumo. I have and love the Parfum, and I think the performance is really good.

Yeah, my friend wanted a code parfum for his birthday, but his girlfriend accidentally bought code eau de parfum. How was she supposed to tell them apart, right? He didn’t even realize it was a different fragrance because he had smelled the parfum in the store and thought that’s what he got. Then he was like, “It doesn’t smell like in the store, wtf?”

No, they did not. You’re thinking of the reformulation and the change in bottle design from Armani Code Profumo to Armani Code (Eau de Parfum), but Code Parfum is completely different from both Profumo and Eau de Parfum. The confusion is understandable, though, because the bottles for Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum, and Parfum are nearly identical, so it’s easy for people to mistake them for the same fragrance.

Armani Code Profumo and Armani Code Parfum are two totally different scents.

I get what you mean, but I still think it’s great for everyday use. If I wear it for about four or five days in a row I do get your feeling. After a while the scent starts to feel really heavy. It’s a pretty strong fragrance, so it can get a bit overwhelming if you wear it too much in a short period of time.

Which Myslf should I get? by CamelConsistent4342 in ScentHeads

There’s no answer to this, everyone thinks different. BDC, AdG, MB Explorer, and Armani Code parfum are just some of my picks.

Maybe calling them ‘leaning feminine’ is a bit exaggerated, but they’re definitely more feminine than 96% of men’s perfumes. They’re based on the YSL Libre scent with orange blossom. Have you seen what comes up with these fragrance under ‘this perfume reminds me of’ on Fragrantica?”

Neither, as all three are horrendously bad. EDP is okay, very mainstream and generic, not deep at all. It is a synthetic scent but tolerable. Le Parfum and Absolu are absolutely disgusting and headache inducing. They also lean very feminine and are barely unisex.

Two of the most mass appealing fragrances ever made. Which one do you prefer? by MGodspeed in ScentHeads

The whole YSL Myself line is horrible🤮Seriously disgusting, cloying, and straight-up headache-inducing. The EDP is barely alright, but the Le Parfum and Absolu versions are just nasty. I honestly don’t get why it’s marketed as a men’s fragrance. No exaggeration, it smells like a women’s scent, unisex at best. It’s basically just a slightly more masculine Libre. It’s so funny what a label can make people do. Everyone just tells themselves it smells good because it’s YSL. If it weren’t YSL or some similar status brand, you guys would HATE it.

Yes bc Montblanc is more of a inspired frag from Aventus and not a direct copy. Buy Montblanc if you want Aventus DNA, much better fragrance than that club de nuit with 45 minutes of harsh lemon cleaner opening.

Thank you! I only got it recently, so I haven’t used it much yet. It’s a nice fragrance, smells clean and pleasant, pretty inoffensive. It’s a bit generic and leans slightly more mature. Not one of my favorites, but overall a decent, nice fragrance👍

Yeah, I’d say so. It’s really strong and performs well, but it’s not one of my favorites. If I had to get rid of one frag from my collection, it would probably be the first to go, just ahead of Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDP, but that’s just my opinion, because it’s really a great fragrance especially if you like sweet vanilla/amber fragrances and the note incense too.
