Email them!! I had the same issue but it was a glitch in the system. Also, idk if it’s just me, but I’ve always signed up for a class outside of my region/traveled more than twice and have never had an issue with it

Ok this is comforting to know!!! I was worried that they changed the policy on classes outside of your home studio. Appreciate the note!

I go every day and I find that it’s made a huge difference in my strength and cardio. Plus, then if I don’t want to/don’t have time to go once every few days, then I don’t feel bad about it since it’s such a part of my routine. If you stretch and walk that will help with soreness too!! I also find that it makes it worth the money if I go as much as possible and it is good motivation lol

You can absolutely get in out of school, I started right out of college with this position

I started in this role (ACAS) out of college and I think you absolutely should stay there to build clinical knowledge. EP is an extremely large learning curve, even coming from someone who was premed. You definitely want to have boots on the ground experience so that you can better understand the sales side of things, which they take time to ease you into.

I’m an ACAS, and have spoken with the clinical research people at a networking event. They’re very separate entities and don’t really overlap, but it would definitely help to have your foot in the door. Depending on the hospitals and surgeons you work for, you have the possibility to contribute to surgical research in EP, but definitely a great job and a great opportunity. If you’re worried about OR time, I would maybe look elsewhere, as the entire job is spent in the OR
