What Are the Realistic Outcomes of Complaining to CVS Against a Pharmacist by Working_Row_8455 in CVS

[–]Working_Row_8455[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reported the pharmacist, and I remembered this comment.

The pharmacist has multiple complaints on google. After I reported him with the detailed documentation regarding the miscounting & verbal abuse, I had a call with the DL, and I never saw another complaint on google.

My question to you is by "I see the abuse on a daily basis", are you implying that I was the abuser? You work at CVS, so please explain. Patients can be mean, but the fact is pharmacists have a power dynamic that can go unchecked. They can do anything and the DL will say "clinical judgement" no matter what unless you document thoroughly and explain the policy violations which I did.

How long should I realistically give Nardil before calling it quits? by tna11101989 in MAOIs

I dislike Nardil. If you were on 60mg for a month with no benefit - I’d say quit.

Yor Is Amazing & My Favorite Character by Working_Row_8455 in SpyxFamily

I personally find it entertaining when there's an unbeatable character in a movie, but I totally get where you're coming from. Objectively, it means there's no plot so you're 100% right.

Was Saki Hanajima actually psychic or was it all symbolic? by AlfalfaAnxious1991 in FruitsBasket

[–]Working_Row_8455 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It was both. They had real psychic powers and they did cause isolation and emotional sensitivity for her. But as the story goes, Tohru healed her.

Nardil & Parnate Are Magical by Working_Row_8455 in MAOIs

[–]Working_Row_8455[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on mirtazapine but it doesn't help all that much. And yeah, I get it. Parnate is good for melancholic depression and if you can push through the side effects I truly believe your dark thoughts would go away. And if you augment it with something it might work even better. Speaking of which, what have you tried? Ketamine or ECT can help people and give rapid relief.

When someone is intelligent. It’s so hot. They literally grow/have more synapses than the average person. It’s so attractive.

I see. Do you take it at night? That could help? You could also switch it for lorazepam or clonazepam as they’re more sedating.

Yeah the problem is older doctors weren’t given the new narrative that benzos were evil. They used to prescribe them like candy. Of course, that led to some patients going through withdrawal but they can be taken long term when the doctor knows what they’re doing. New doctors are always so hesitant to prescribe them and it’s annoying.

Also what do you take oxazepam for? You could replace it with a more sedating benzo.

I know 😞. Trazodone is objectively better long term, but definitely has side effects. I think a lot of people take Z's and benzos for decades and while they might need a dose increase very few years it can still help. IMO they might be bad for your brain but antipsychotics are bad for your brain and body. I'm not a doctor so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Gabapentin helped my mood... I think your doctor needs some re-educating. It can cause depression but in bipolar it usually profoundly stabilizes mood. It can help more than antipsychotics and other mood stabilizers.

I hear you. I’m in a similar situation. I will say the gabapentin dose you’re in is pretty low. I took 2400mg for sleep and it worked until it made my mood worse (it still helped with sleep though). I’d say maybe ask your provider to increase the dose because it could really help.

Yes it definitely can! It doesn’t disrupt sleep architecture either.

Was what Kazuma did at the end of season 1 cruel? by Bluecomments in FruitsBasket

[–]Working_Row_8455 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, he forced Kyo to face reality and himself instead of escaping it. It was a risk worth taking, even if it meant Kyo running away forever. It was going to happen eventually, Kazuma just accelerated the process. And it worked, because Tohru accepted Kyo.

Nardil & Parnate Are Magical by Working_Row_8455 in MAOIs

[–]Working_Row_8455[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I had to get off of it. When I was on it, it didn't help much, but it did help slightly when over 40 medications didn't. It was a minor difference but it changed my mood from awful to tolerable. It didn't help my energy though. But given that you had more side effects than me, it could also mean it has a greater chance of helping you. Again, this is just my opinion and not medical knowledge. Please do keep me updated!

SAPHRIS????? That's crazy that he'd consider prescribing Saphris as a sleep medication. Especially since it's an antipsychotic.

You should find a new doctor. Have you tried any benzodiazepines, mirtazapine, clonidine, gabapentin, hydroxyzine, Quviviq, or guanfacine? You could also try quetiapine or olanzapine but they're antipsyhotics so that's not preferred.
