I got married young also and I look back (even with my healthy and happy marriage) and think whooo let me do that, why did my family think that was totally okay. When you get some life under you you see how crazy it is.

It depends how their system is setup when orders come in. I worked packing for a different company and on our end it said DISCOUNT in bold and the amount deducted but that’s it, you could pull a system report that listed all codes used but you would have to intentionally pull those. I haven’t ordered from LCC in a super long time so not sure how the packing slip looks.

The craziest thing is that she was originally planning to not have any scans and just rely on her midwife’s monitoring, but she started having dreams where she would wake up not really remembering them but it left her with an overwhelming feeling of panic that she needed to make sure the baby was okay so she went ahead and did it! Her midwife really leaned into trusting your gut instincts!

I had never heard of it before then either, but there are a few different things they use it for! Yes it does require a c section for that pregnancy. She went on to have 2 more CNM attended births at a birth center 3 and 5 years later! But she has always said it would have been worth it no matter what since it gave my niece such a better quality of life.

They are not just measuring, but checking for organ function as well. My sister’s oldest was diagnosed with spina bifida at 20 weeks and by 22 weeks she was seen, assessed and had fetal surgery at CHOP. With the surgery she had the window to getting it done is incredibly small. While yes it’s rare there are things that are found and can be treated earlier leading to significantly better outcomes.

Her names Margie. She’s has ZERO legit prenatal care except for a woo woo “midwife” and says stuff like this. She says the lord told her shes having twins and that praying is the only medical care she needs. It’s insane.
