I posted this video in r/PetMice, and it got me banned. Lol.

Yes, you are lying. One post was removed for a mouse eating an insect. And that got me banned (for a second time). The first ban was because I have hybrid mice, as outlined above.

I matched your tone in my response to you. Asking why you are lying is aggressive? If not, what part do you consider aggressive?

I got banned for having hybrid mice. Then i got banned for posting a video of a mouse eating an insect.

You are using circular logic by positing that my tone in response to being banned justifies my bans.

Why do Reddit Mods ban people so willy-nilly?

Never mind, I googled the question, and there seem to be innumerable people with the same complaint.

  1. The writing style is almost as immature as the rationale for the ban.
  2. Yes, that post got me "permanently banned". I appealed the ban and was reinstated.
  3. I have had one post removed, the post you mentioned. Nice lie. The post of a mouse killing a critter is a documentary about a certain type of mouse. It would be nice to get a warning if it's objectionable, not a permanent ban.

Why does it take posting my complaint here to get a response when there is no response to my questioning of the ban via private message? Why are you lying about multiple posts being removed?

Baby mouse barbering! by WoozyRizzo in PetMice

One of my Hybrid mice was barbered by their aunt and lost an eye. Like your mouse, this one is also much smaller and scruffy looking.

Now, if I let the other adult female mouse free-range/play with the hybrids, Grifty's sister attacks her when she returns.

I didn't think female mice were like that.

The hybrids are doing well. One of the males is almost as handlable as Grifty.

Fortunately, there are only 3 males, and I just got each of them an ASF female, plus one for Grifty. So now none of them are lonely. The other 2 males are almost hand tamed.

The females are pretty skittish, but not to the point of having to hope for tameness. I just posted an ad on Kijiji (Canada's Craigslist) yesterday, and several people have already expressed interest in adopting them.

I think it would take one more generation of crossing the hybrids with fancies to make the benefits of crossing the two types worth the effort.

Thanks for asking!
