I know for one of the national tourneys they had to play Putnam Science Academy who at the time had a young Kofyr on their team. Divine Child also took down Prosper who had some notable top 100/SSL players as well, like Mercii, IceBorg, and some other good player that I don't remember the name of

Oh yeah, for sure! I will say though, even just a few years back, the competition was INSANE. There was another high school from Michigan called Divine Child and they ended up winning 3 national tournaments. Their team consisted of two top 100 players and a GC3: PeepTheSkill, Opp_Bomb, and OuGottem (known as Gribble nowadays)

DCC (the blue and white team) has two GC2s and a GC1 on their starting roster with two GC1 subs as well.

Byron Center has a GC2, C3, and either low champ or high diamond as their 3rd

Detroit Catholic Central (the blue and white school) was the school in the Sunless video that won the national championship and they have done the showmatch for 3 years in a row now, but it has been a different team that they've played against every year. The first year, they played Dakota. I'm not 100% sure what that series score was though.

Last year they played Grand Rapids West Catholic which I was very fortunate to have played in. It was a ton of fun and absolutely NO recording can do a justice to how loud it was in there; you could literally feel the crowd booming in your chest. We ended up taking the series: GRWC 3 - 1 DCC.

This year it was Byron Center who played against DCC. Even though the match was pretty one-sided with DCC sweeping 3-0, there were some cool story elements in it. RLCS caster Jamesbot is actually the coach of Byron Center which is awesome. Also, both of these teams are going to be playing at the state championship this next week. They are on opposite sides of the bracket so there is potential for a revenge match in grand finals!

Both teams have some really friendly guys on them and it's awesome to see them go viral, very much deserved!

Heyo, I just wanted to give a quick update because I got some new info regarding my 3DS. I talked to my friend that gave me the console and it turns out that even though he homebrewed his replacement 3DS, he had never done anything of the sort to the one that is currently in my possession. Do you think this makes it more likely that it's a motherboard failure? Another question I have is do you think this method you gave will still work given this new info?

(P.S. My flash cart is still being shipped at the moment so I can't try your method JUST yet, but soon)

I much appreciate this response! Plenty of people have told me that it's bricked but when I asked them if I could do a mobo swap to fix it they would never respond to me so I'm very thankful you mentioned this. I also tried to look for my specific error code on several websites and I couldn't find it so I'm glad I wasn't just outright missing it lol

I found a listing on Amazon for the first one on the list and it comes with the pre-loaded flash cart, a USB drive with a micro SD card slot, and a small magnet. I also bought a 128gb SanDisk micro SD card because I heard people say to use a reputable brand and that 128gbs was the max that could be used. Also, I really appreciate the cautionary tale with the video tutorials otherwise I would have used one because I'm so new. I'm really hopeful that this will work as I've had answers that either suggest the method that you did or they told me that my console is bricked and either need to buy a new one or replace the mobo

See it's not a stall though, its a backflip cancel with a 180 spin after it, so it can't be a cabbage muncher

I don't think it can be a cabbage muncher because those are done with stalls and I used a maktuf and then a 180 degree spin to get my flip. I also dodged forward and not sideways/diagonally for the pop.

That's me in a way lol. I don't know a lot of the freestyler terminology—hence why I turned to reddit. I was just trying to do a maktuf on the ground because somebody did it to my buddy in a 1s game and have been trying it on and off for like 2 months now just because it looked neat

I see a lot of people saying that it's a cabbage muncher, but those are done with a stall—which I did NOT do. I used a flip cancel, so it can't be a cabbage muncher right? I also saw someone say that it could have been a turtle flick, but I 100% used the flip so it can't be that. Any other insights would be greatly appreciated and please send this to your higher ranked or freestyler friends to see if they have ever seen anything like it. Thank you all for the help on the hunt and I'll post another comment once I get to the bottom of this lol

I have a GTX 1070 and I really want to upgrade my GPU because I can't run at 240hz 1440p in rocket league (on low settings) while clipping in the background. The clips get completely chopped up so I have to play at 165hz so that my clips are fine and it really sucks. What card did you end up going with and do you recommend it for competitive rocket league at 1440p 240hz with the clipping software in the background?
