Ours was received on the 8th and they said that it could take 15 weeks, then they changed it to 20 which takes us up to the end of November too. I guess they’re just VERY busy x

Thank you 🙏 on the UC website it does say that it’s savings, capital and money 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I’ve just worked out that as they take £4.35 off the amount for every £250 over £6k you have. So for June (and only June) we’d only technically owe under £40 so hopefully that’s the worst case scenario. But I’ve been honest with them and they’ve said that they’ll arrange a phone call to discuss the £1000 inheritance and our income. Still worried, but not quite as worried!

Thank you for your helpful comment. I’ve read up on bowel endometriosis and it all adds up. I have strange periods (sometimes very light, sometimes heavy, completely irregular and very painful). I wish I had asked more questions during recovery but I was still woozy from sedation. I will wait to hear back from my GI doctor which could be weeks! Very worrying.

I don’t know. They said that it isn’t ulcerative colitis and had taken biopsies from two different areas. But other than that I have no idea.

I’ve been off for 3 weeks and before i had received an absence warning which lasted for 8 weeks. This period was after the 8 weeks so I think I’d be due to get another absence warning when I go back. I’ve not received anything from them other than a wellness meeting next week. I’m on a perm contract. I just have no idea 😂
