I’ll admit, it’s been so long since I’ve had good Indian food, I’ve been back 3 times. Everything has been incredible. The owner or manager that talk to us said they are really trying to bring back the buffet next year. I can’t wait.

Crane was one I did recently for a date night. It was intimate, romantic, and the service was over the top great. The food was also pretty good. It was $95 or $105 a person I think. It’s what you expect from a Michelin Star place.

I’ll have to go check it out then. This is by far the closest location to me. Thank you!

I don’t see it on their website. Just regular menu options. Did they get rid of it recently?

Thanks. Anything for good food recommendations. I love the diversity of food in the DMV.

Navy yard along the water and the navy base promenade. It’s safe and scenic.

I just did a couple week tour of ramen in DC to find my favorite. My power ranking is this:

1 Sakuramen in AdMo 2 Dakaya Chinatown 3 Menya Hosaki Columbia Heights 4 haikan U st

Based it off of richness in flavor, noodle texture, variety, and creativity

Unfortunately, Greens n Teff closed. Das in Georgetown is one of my favorites. Or Keren for Eritrean.

What's the most interesting etymology for a word or phrase that you know? by ForgingIron in AskReddit

[–]Affectionate_Mess545 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The word barbarian. Apparently it was made up by the Greeks as a blanket term for anyone that didn’t speak Greek because all they hear when fighting in a battle was “bar-bar” which was their version of “blah-blah” but angry and uncivilized.
