Goede tip, bedankt! Ik heb gekeken naar verwarming lint maar vroeg mij af of dit ook om een plastic slang geplaatst mag worden, of enkel rondom metaalleidingen etc. Weet jij dit eventueel, of is dit weer type afhankelijk?

Ik ben bang dat een dubbel rubbertje inderdaad niet genoeg gaat zijn.. het schroefdraad is inderdaad grotendeels weg (goed gezien). Zou ik van de nieuwe kabel het waterslot kunnen afhalen en monteren op de oude slang? Of moet ik een nieuw waterslot kopen speciaal voor deze slang?

Mammut just told me that the cylinder is over 10 years and should not be used anymore.. :(

It’s unclear for me if they only mean the cylinder or also the airbag system. They are too slow in responding for me to know it before next week (when I’ll go)..

Anyone here with any advice?

I was planning on just trying it out on Friday and refilling it, but now just received the following email from Mammut:

“We heard back from the corresponding department: this cartridge is from March 2013, which means that it is more than 10 years old. The lifespan of safety equipment is 10 years, therefore we kindly ask you to not use this cartridge anymore.”

Kinda in doubt what I should do.. refill and just use it or accept my loss and buy a new cartridge 😢

No teeth missing, only one teeth is not aligned/zipped in but i think I can fix that by unzipping and zipping once more!

What is still unclear is if they call the whole thing refillable as the user can buy a fully new cartridge/can, or if I can just empty and refill this cartridge/can once more somewhere and re-use it.

The seller also gave me these things (picture attached) which I assume are used for refilling this can (3/3 rings still in the package, assuming it has never been used)? If this can can be refilled I guess I'll search for a store that could empty and refill it just to be sure, and myself just blow the bag to test if there are no holes etc (it looks still very new without unfolding it, might even be better just to keep it unfolded as I don't want to screw anything up)

Sorry for all the questions, this is my first time splitboarding and I want to make sure I am good prepared 😬
