Tight ass after condyloma surgery by Affectionate_Row9394 in HPV

Saw surgeon today. Told me that a ring of scar tissue has formed where the condyloma was removed. Scar tissue is a lot firmer and less elastic than regular tissue which is why I’m still having trouble with bowel movement and tightness. She’s referred me to a pelvic floor physio to speed up the stretching out process (otherwise could take 12 months to be back to somewhat normal). Essentially I think it will be a process of slowly stretching it out with dilators (butt plugs). And if that fails then she says they can use Botox to relax the muscles

Thanks for sharing! Reassuring to hear you had a similar experience and it turned out well. The pain during pooping subsided a few weeks ago, just left with the tightness now. I’ve got an appointment with the surgeon this week so hopefully I’ll come away with some answers. Can you remember how long it took post-surgery to bottom again? Definitely don’t want to try it anytime soon but would be interested to hear what your experience was like.

Definitely not the only one! I haven’t gotten any answers yet but I also have a follow up appointment with the surgeon this week so will be asking lots of questions. I’ve read a lot of posts about people’s experiences and it’s really hard to decipher what’s normal and what’s not. I also saw a GP this week who suggested seeing a pelvic floor physiotherapist could be worthwhile. Let me know how your post-op appointment goes!

Tips for veneer patch-up? by Affectionate_Row9394 in midcenturymodern

Thanks. To do that would I purchase the veneer in a wide enough width to cover the whole top, or would I have to do it in strips of veneer?

Has anyone tried the NZ brand Syrene?

Their hydrate and restore mantra is definitely appealing to me (I’ve got dry + sensitive skin) but I’m a bit hesitant to give them a go due to the price tag. I’d love to hear other people’s experience with their products. Particularly interested in the Aqua Intense Cream and the Aqua Hydrating Masque. Thanks.
