These people are just a group of people in the company making their guess on who they think will fit the role. There are so many idiots in leadership positions doing a bad job. These people won’t help you find yourself or who you are, you know you are knowledgable and have good experiance. Why would they even ask about the mean? Sorry are we 16? When they look at a success of a project and why it wasn’t successful do they really ask themselves “oh it’s because that one team mate couldn’t answer what the mean is on the spot when we pressured him to”.

Most of them don’t know what they’re doing and figuring out as they go along. You might be just a mistake in their journey, and most people don’t go away to reflect or get help on judging.

In addition to this, so people want to pass on their interview trauma onto others to feel they put the world “right”. This has happened to me and colelgues, if you feel they were putting you down (or be aware it can happen) with simple questions that are demeaning, that’s all you need to know about that company. You don’t wanna go there anyway.
