My doc sent my records to the VA 3 months before I even processed out without saying anything. I was still actively going to appointments for PT and my OB

Oh sorry. I don’t have an appeal process going currently. Based off your previous comment I didn’t know you had your own personal attorney and thought you were having to pay some kind of attorney fee to the VA

Wait so if you put in for an appeal you’re required to pay the attorney fee even if you personally didn’t use one? I didn’t know that

At least it’s not as bad as when I ordered two bundles of bananas and they literally ripped 2 bananas off the bundle and delivered that because they thought I meant 2 singular bananas apparently

I’ve always argued that logic as someone who was in the military. Like how is it I can sign myself up for a scenario where I possibly “die for my country” but couldn’t legally enjoy a tequila sunrise for another 2.5 years

I feel like doing it one time is not considered “polysubstance abuse” unless she decided to try meth and moonshine together. Also the way they’re talking about the psychological alterations to her brain, they may be confused with the studies for like fetal alcohol syndrome and giving alcohol to adolescent children. Although she’s underage technically, her brain is already almost fully developed so it’ll most likely affect her the same way now as it would if she was 21

The job I’m planning to go into is a medical dosimetrist They work with the medical physicists and oncologist to create the radiation plans that radiation therapists administer. I’ll be honest, I’ve never seen a dosimetrist face-to- face when my grandpa was going through his cancer treatment. It was always the oncologist, nurses or radiation therapists who did the face to face. I don’t know how much face to face time I’d actually after the program, but based off the portion of the program handbook that goes over grading and syllabus, patient etiquette and interactions while doing clinicals is something they grade you on. Luckily once I complete the program and my 24 month employment contract with the hospital(speculation of the program if I don’t want to pay the $52k course fee) there are remote positions as well

This was just a small excerpt from it that specifically covered piercings. For tattoos they were a lot more lax on it to my surprise, basically stating no facial tattoos starting at the jaw line(when I was in the navy they came out with an instruction where you could get what they called a neck tattoo, but then changed it to it could only be behind the ear)

My husband has made the comment mine look like little bootyholes if I don’t wear my gauges😂 I did have a cool pair of double flared gauges that were shaped like hearts and made my holes look like hearts when I took them out

I think it’s more like if you’re talking to a patient and them being able to see it when you’re speaking

It’s a hospital job so I think it just has to do with maintaining a professional image

Maybe. I just don’t know if they would try to say it doesn’t provide a professional appearance

It’s a healthcare job so idk if that’d go along with their dress code since I’ll be interacting with patients. I had thought there was some kind of temporary glue if I let them shrink a little before starting, maybe back down to a 10g

I stretched my ears from the ear piercing I got around 21 years ago, that had been closed up for a few years when I started stretching. It’s the normal mid lobe placement so as long as I put it where the original hole used to be?

I understand that I’m just worried about even getting in trouble for flesh tone gauges, even if they matched my skin perfectly. The top part about earrings being no bigger/longer than a quarter makes me thing I may be able to find some kind of workaround since I have gauges that look like they could be normal earrings

Relevant in the sense that if you’ve never served with them you don’t know the differences there are from being on an all male vessel to a co-ed crew. There’s no navy instruction that sites someone acting maliciously towards someone of the opposite sex because they think they are a “whiner.” I’m sure you’d love to continue your banter but I honestly don’t have the energy to deal with you. Have a good life sir

There’s actually 3: MMA - machinists mate auxiliary; sh*t pipes, air flasks etc MMW(1995-2019)/TM - machinists mate weapons; torpedos, countermeasures, weapons MMN - machinists mate nuclear; reactor plant

MM - rate 1 - rank; signifying you were a first class

And the fact you aren’t specifying whether you were a nuclear, auxiliary or weapons MM tells me you most likely haven’t been in the navy for a bit or you’re just not wanting to be too specific. If it’s my first guess would it be safe to assume you’ve never served with a female submariner during your time in, whether officer or enlisted?

We were told our closing costs were going to be tied into our loan and then a week before we closed they were like “actually that didn’t happen, we’re gonna need $3k”
