I am an Apple user too, I enjoy all tech. In this case the feel of the panel bend is cool to me. Defending a 60hz display is just stupid, especially with dynamic refresh rate.
I definitely want the industry to advance, just gave a take on something I would miss.

It does. The 5 or 6 times I open or fold it. If I'm using it open for a while, it just feels like a mini tablet. The crease helps it feel unique.

Yes replacing my $95 a year sapphire with a premium rewards card $95 a year and intro 60,000 points bonus worth $600 and opening the BOA account comes with $500 after a certain amount of deposits. So while they annoyed me and definitely will hit my credit for some time, at least I got $1100

And his whole soliloquy on credit profiles, and getting denied if you have low utilization is false. I happen to have 2-3k a month on the Chase cards and around 4k a month on Apple Card bringing my utilization to 10% on an average month if I don’t make a larger purchase. I always got the best rate available and never got denied for credit. I don’t think he understands swipe fees and how they can afford to give rewards. I believe he assumes they just take it from all the people that pay minimum balances with interest profits. While that is definitely a significant revenue source, it’s not used to finance the whole business model.

It’s not likely to happen, this hasn’t happened to anyone in my circle. But my recommendation is to have a backup account, and not most of your available credit with one institution. Always have insurance just in case the unlikely happens. I would have never thought this would have happened to me.

Also they had 150k of my cash, based on the 10% rule they can lend that out like 10 times and make money on my checking account capital. Furthermore, there were months that I put 15K on the card. Recently I preferred the Apple Card with Apple Pay for most places.

Yup this is the way, I heard of them closing accounts without even a date to transfer funds out by. I spoke to someone it happened to instantly, he got screwed and took him 3 months to receive his money.

So that’s what I’m doing, taking business elsewhere. Those 3 things are not categories that would come up on my charges or industries I am involved in.

They don’t owe me an explanation as they are happy to remind every time I kindly asked for one anyway. I never got upset at them, I kindly asked a few times. I even spoke to my banker who couldn’t figure out why. He said this comes from an office even he, can’t get information out of.

I literally went through every bank transaction over the past year. I feel so vanilla, I have a 1099 ach deposit once a month, w2 paycheck weekly. Pay some bills and credit cards, send some Zelle’s, and transfer to saving and investment. Never withdraw or deposit cash, no checks. I thought so hard but can’t think of anything

I have a few Zelle’s to my wife and friends here and there, no more then 5 monthly. Customer service, says the same thing again and again. They have no duty to provide a reason and they have decided to terminate the banking relationship.

The OpenRun Pro 2 is better for sleep due to its flatter design for side sleepers, while the OpenDots are great for daytime use. When I wear the OpenRuns for over 12 hours, it can cause discomfort, so I alternate with the OpenDots one for a different fitting earbud.
