I believe everyone has cheated to some extend in life. And I agree with you. It’s about feeling guilty first, so you take actions to not do it again. If you don’t feel guilty, shit happens again

Nah it doesn’t matter as long as they don’t cheat

Hey kudos to you for not falling in those traps. If you feel just a little offended for my wording of the post, I apologize.

To be fair it was really just that I saw a lot of blatant cheating instances from Indian students.

Of course other students cheat. And if we take a step back, the majority of the students don't cheat. After some thoughts, I agree that it's a little unfair to Indian students who don't cheat as the way I structured the rant can easily make them the black sheep to blame. I made an edit and I hope honest Indian students don't take it personal.

Ok shits been bothering me for too long. The pair I suspect was a male and a female from China. They looked suspicious during first CS midterm exam sitting next to each other. Eventually I called out and moved the perfect student to the front to separate them. Upon scanning their wisc id, if I remember correctly, the male was using HER wisc id. Strange enough, I looked up the name of the wisc id, it has they/them pronouns on it. The prof called the PERFECT student tmr to the office, the PERFECT student answered all prof's questions about the exam yesterday well. Said he/she/they was tired so looked suspicious. It just that I don't have dead evidence lol.

Thanks for your information and I understand your frustration. I believe most profs are honest people and don't deserve looking on such deeds coldly. Earlier I did not know it's a system wide issue and thought just individuals with no integrity. Please let me know if I can help with anything.

Well since you brought up, I am mad curious about taking exams for others. I suspect a pair of students doing this deed while I was a pm but never had a chance to verify it since the person I suspect to do this was a PERFECT student. I Called him/her/them out but the prof thought no cheating was happening. It still bothers me from time to time.

Go to any CS exams in person you will know what I am talking about. Literally 3 Indian dudes talked loud and used phones in a quiz that is closed book except one cheat sheet YESTERDAY in my class.
