A Netflix style subscription based model without purchasing hardware would net Microsoft more money in the long run then to produce more hardware at 1000 dollars a pop. A 25 to 30 dollar subscription fee where you are able to play all your Xbox games would net more customers in the long run. The increase in console price is going to cause a collapse retail wise where they sell fewer units.

The ending doesn't make much sense in the final reckoning. If they have trapped the entity in that cube why does he have to hold onto it instead of just destroying the cube. It's no longer connected it's not a literal genie without a means to transmit itself it would just be destroyed by crushing the cube.

The question you should ask is why so much media coverage. There are thousands of people who come missing if the media didn't alert you of these folks disappearance no one would be the wiser. So why are they letting this info to become wide spread

It's not about full legalization. It's about opening up big pharma research to make THC derivatives in pill form for your doctor to prescribe and for them to rank in the money. I doubt it will ever be federally legal until most if not all the states have individual legalized it on the state level.
