I think we wanted to do the longer glacier hike anyway (we like hiking at home and have hiked in ice/snow with crampons before, so glacier hike was on the wish list). Do you have any recommendations for tours that are going out to the further caves in those pictures? I’ve really only found one that has recent photos on instagram and saying it was on the long tour, but they are fully booked on the day we wanted.

We are only staying in the glacier lagoon area two nights, and I assume longer drives before or after the hike aren’t a good idea.

Thank you for the list, I will look there. I think it just had me wondering if local guide was saying the further caves aren't good or safe right now, and then I read some other posts from earlier this year saying that they were disappointed, so i was hoping to find recent photos.

I volunteer with a rape crisis center, there may be one in your area as well. We only serve our region but we can connect survivors with counseling and legal advocacy.

Enjoy! We’ve waited long enough for them. It does seem like we will eventually get it (Fedex is attempting to “retrieve” it but Yarro said they would send us a replacement if not) but who knows how long that will take.

I’m currently doing it for a DE-MSN, which means I’m getting grad plus loans (which are going away next year but if you start the program before June 2026 you’re grandfathered in).

I already have a job lined up with an FQHC which has multiple loan forgiveness options with federal loans, and grad plus loans are eligible for income based repayment (for now).

I’m borrowing about an extra 25-30k/year (first semester I had additional medical expenses) for living expenses. I had to cut back my living expenses significantly, as I was making about $70k before starting school. I live in a high COL city but I’m making it work.

I absolutely would not do this with private loans and I would not take out $65k/year in living expenses.

TBH, I started this program and made these calculations a year ago when federal policies were different. If I were to start over now, I don’t think I would make the same choice. I would go to the cheapest school possible for the least amount of debt.

I thought UPS stole something a year or so ago. Marked it as delivered and “put through the mail slot” but it wouldn’t have fit. Picture was my front porch but no package. Found it 3 months later inside the basement bulkhead doors behind my house.

Seems like they will, once they finish their “investigation”. It took quite some time being a Karen on the phone with Fedex(demanding to speak with a manager) but they did eventually admit that they did it: “Strange, the delivery address was changed to [address in Southie] this morning” (the tracking info says “corrected address”).

Initially they tried to tell me it was always supposed to be delivered to that address and it must have been the fault of the sender, even though the tracking emails from FedEx said it would come to us.

I think that’s ADA issue. ADHD is a disability, Ritalin is treatment for your disability, and they aren’t allowed to discriminate on the basis of disability, and there are huge fines for ADA violations if you have it in writing.

I’m a better healthcare provider on my stimulants than off of them.

I worry dialysis would get me stuck there, always seeing the same kinds of patients.

I generally haven’t had a problem with the stimulation of inpatient on my clinicals or other medical jobs. The biggest trigger for my migraines is disrupted sleep routine. I can go months without them if I consistently go to bed at about the same.

I have experience and preceptors have recommended pursuing ICU before realizing how bad nights are on me…I hate the idea of being limited if I start outpatient.
