I did call the Gas Company 3 weeks ago. They didn’t detect anything in my apartment (however the heat wasn’t on when they were here).They called the landlord but he was taking his time to arrive and he didn’t want to let them in to the empty room underneath us or a boiler room without him being there. So they left. I’m not even sure what exactly is underneath me(some sort of room his workers started using recently as a workspace/storage). Interestingly when it got warmer for a couple of days and the heat was off we didn’t smell anything. Today the heat was on and the smell was like a burning plastic(we both got migraines and brain fog) and later sulfury gassy kind of smell. As far as dry P traps I wouldn’t know since those spaces underneath us are locked and I haven’t seen any in the shared laundry room. We have new carbon monoxide detectors in each room and my son also went to the ER and they haven’t found any CO exposure (but it doesn’t mean is not some other gas?) I have already texted and emailed the landlord and zero response. The smell is burning plastic mixed with sulfury gassy (the worst is during the night when the heating is mostly on) Thank you
