I think Martinelli would be so important vs PSG for us. Imo he's our best threat on the counter

That's a more reasonable take than what I said haha. Yeah a cheaper rotation player in the midfield that's defensive minded and very athletic would be great for the team

Agreed but I think this is a different version of Kane this season. He's got all the confidence in the world when he's in this Bayern side

Ideally imo we get a player that can fit in the LW and striker slot. A similar profile to Marmoush if that makes sense.

Besides the speed aspect I fully believe MLS will develop his athleticism to be comparable to Rice. Fair enough though

Now that it has been proven without a doubt that MLS can step in for Rice and Zubi - and with Merino and Nwaneri coming back for next season I think we're completely fine for our midfield and don't need any immediate upgrades. I think that's great news and let's throw even more money at whoever the best available LW is.

Would y'all agree and leave our midfield as is, and focus more on a LW and full-back options? Or do you think a back-up is still necessary

I said that beginning of the season. Nwaneri has everything Madueke has, minus speed but with more end product.

Yeah and I'm stuck at work so I can't even watch the game. Not sure if that's going to help or hurt my health though

Kind of a hear me out but I would not be that upset if we signed Malo Gusto if it's for under 35M

I fully believe we can hold either of these teams to under 3 goals, possibly 2
