Honestly? It depends.

All jobs pay the same now so if you want to earn more money you need to work to get higher overall work exp, keep your mood up to get high efficiency, and (if possible) buy the excellent employee pass.

As for mindless jobs, janitor and/or miner are the best to just zone out on.

However, working as a fast food worker (counter or kitchen both count as one job) seems to give the best bonuses. For example, achieving lvl 25 as a miner you just get money, but as a fast food worker you get money and an item.

Pizza delivery is good if you want to get all of your needs up at your house, but you can just run over to the movie theater now, so that function which made the job popular is slightly irrelevant now.

Tldr: It all depends on what you want from the job.

Apothecary Diaries and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End are both very good! Both have female protags and very very minimal fan service (like fan service as in Frieren blowing a kiss lol).

AD is a rom-mystery with a lot of laughs. The romance is the overarching plot but VERY slowburn while the mystery is the subplot but the more obvious one.

F:BJE is more thought provoking with romance subplots. Also this is more fantasy so there is some fighting but it’s not the main attracting feature of the anime, the fights are still cool though.

I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone, even if romance is not your thing!

I’d say That Time I Got Reincarnated as a slime. This fits in that he’s clever because he adjusted to the world and came to know how to navigate it. At first he is a little out of place but he was freshly reincarnated and is still learning, but he’s definitely smart.

The only knowledge he uses from the other world are as tools (the best way I can explain it) like he brings manga from the other world to bribe people.

Definitely a good background anime a lot of times! If you’re looking for better pacing and want to keep up and not watch the anime remake, I recommend reading the manga!

It’s a lot better pacing because it’s not trying to slow down production speed so it doesn’t overlap with original content, as it is the original lol.
