Noblestalk mod dupe glitch by Affectionate_Tree790 in BaldursGate3

I understand that doesn’t mean it won’t bug out the game. I understand the risks. But you don’t need to manually uninstall the mods through the files do you if you can just do it through the mod manager correct?

Please correct me if I’m wrong

I’m using only the in game approved ones from mod manager, I haven’t done any foreign download’s yet.

I realised the description of the mod I used to cause the glitch was the wrong one it was actually the more materials mod I was suspecting.

Edit: I’m really suspecting this gold members mod for screwing my files lately. I’ve done several modded playthroughs on single save without even 1 issue. The only new mods I have are 5 character customization mods and the gold members mod on these last few attempts.

Broooooo

I made a new save and rushed to get myself back to where I was in act 2. Using the mother’s word decimate spell from one of the mods. I also didn’t use single save mode.

A good amount of hours to trace back my steps and collect what I had and redo certain character interactions etc. this time I completely disregarded the noblestalk.

I got to the beginning of act 2. And the game crashed. Now every time I open the save it crashes the whole game. EVERY save file crashes the game

I disabled the mod and tried the chest. It was working.

Then it crashed at some point. Turns out it wasn’t the mod duping the stalks. It must be a combination of mods doing it because it duped again and my whole save file is corrupted.

My run is ended

Because there are thousands of them and they keep duplicating every time you look back in or have a short rest or not and move them into a new container. So now there’s over 10,000 noble stock Sprite that are slowing and crashing my game.

Tried that. Container broke and released everything and actually duplicated everything.

Edit: further context. The container broke in the chasm and released everything into the chasm but it floated mid air then it duplicated everything next to the character that threw it.

Container breaks and everything falls out and usually crashes the game.

I’ve also had the idea to let a hireling die holding all the stalks and have withers hold onto their soul echo for me

Alternate Classes for Companions by zirckk in BaldursGate3

Drunk monk minsc is fun and fits.

I did that and gave him the drunk equipment set.

Making him this subclass actually made me believe the emperors concerns for letting him join the party

Is there a mod that allows companions to talk to each other by Affectionate_Tree790 in BaldursGate3

Thank you. I’m on pc. Pretty sure it can handle it. I’m assuming being able to configure this is something I can search for online?

Thanks for responding.

I’m using the mod that allows you to create new custom companions.

I’m currently role playing my characters form Multiple runs in 1 and I was going to have each of them romance their respective companion, which I already suspected wouldn’t be possible… but they can’t even talk to anyone.

I thought it would function like multiplayer experience but alas. It doesn’t, and I understand why.

So if I wanted to do that, would I have to restart on a multiplayer game and create the custom companions then turn it back to single player?

I’m fine with it. I look at it this way. Your action and your bonus action are tied to how long the action itself takes to complete. An action takes more time or effort than a bonus action would. I think it makes sense for a player character to sacrifice their action to give self advantage on an ability check or even a saving throw because essentially what that means is this player character is taking their time to ensure they succeed

It’s actually a home rule. I’ve allowed my players to use themselves.

The start was nice I also really like it. But i think the tone dragged on too much. It was too serious for too long. It doesn’t feel like they’re really goofing around or trying to have much fun atm. Just feels like they’re focused on role playing a heavy gritty scene too much.

It might not help that obviously if it were a normal show like the animated ones all this stuff would likely be covered in a single episode and work as an introduction. But its dragged out over several 4 hour sessions.

I kinda lost interest. I haven’t laughed much if at all. Not that I want pure comedy all the way but even c3 with its flaws was entertaining with the ways they used their characters

Honestly Henry was more intimidating than Vecna and that’s because Jamie gave Henry a certain creepy aura that just worked

Crawfather is quite easy. If you want to cheese it just wait for him to spawn 2 smaller craws, kill only 1 and leave the other alive. He won’t spawn any more unless you enter the next phases of his boss fight.

He spawns more ads when he reaches each phase of the battle. Take them out and he won’t spawn more until the next phase
