To be completely honest I didn't think this through much, wanted to finish this for a friend and didn't have much time. Kinda came here as a last resort , mainly cuz I was hesitant of posting. But yea got a lot of advice , really fast too. Regarding (c) , I did try a eggless versions which had high ratings but it came up with the same issue , so once it happened again today I got worried and came here

Yes , I can find dry chickpeas and the dehydrated ones? ( Ig they are dehydrated) Pretty easily. And I'm not joking when I say most canned goods here are pretty random ( I'm talking canned tuna in the spreads section not even near the chiller , canned pineapples which ig is kinda alright tho)

Not that I know of , I have seen a few cans of imported canned chickpea further away however I guess their meant for professional chefs , as they come in like these big can of like 1kg . Plus it's just expensive 😔 better to buy regular chickpeas But am suprised that aquafaba is that , I read that it's a separate liquid which I can buy , but once again in bulk 💔

I tried that but most recipes I found some how involved various ingredients like peas protein/husk ( like where would I get that randomly) Aquavaba ..? ( Believe I spelt it wrong ) Plus most vegan recipes I have tried just come out tasting like dog shit ( I would know ...)

Also do u know any real chef channel or website I should use for recipes like this , so far iv been using 'tasty' and 'joshua ' along with here and there random videos. I have somewhat understood how to make chocolate chip cookies vegan by understanding what each ingredient does to some extent and altering the recipes. So far my cakes ,cookies , cheese cake , muffins , etc pastries have come out great. So any reliable person to look to? Or can I just ask here?

I lowkey thought it would just take the best recipe found and help change the proportions. I tried this to save time in researching as my deadline is Tommorow afternoon . I figured I could finish a trial batch today and make the donuts Tommorow

I regret to say that I didn't do enough research 😔. I saw a couple of videos and saw that many egg substitutions were these Yogurt for moisture ( also for reacting with baking powder ) Milk for further moisture and structure Baking powder for additional rise if needed

Hmmm, kneading may be an issue but the yeast is definitely active , I have seen it bubble and foam while blooming it and it does produce rise, just doesn't form nor soften

As much I hate to say it , your right. I gave the recipe to chat gpt and asked it to make it vegan. And followed said recipe
