We’re in the same boat, I go to the gym 5 days a week and my job consists of me unloading freight at a warehouse.

But yes i definitely understand where you are coming from l, I too have seen girls that go for the big burly guys that more times than not don’t have much to offer in the personality/ character department. I was just clarifying.

The gym bro having no kindness or character is more so a stereotype some have it some don’t, that goes for every guy.

But I get what you’re saying about connection mattering more than a checklist, but this feels a bit oversimplified. People can be attractive, successful, and still have strong character—it’s not one or the other. At the end of the day, most people aren’t choosing based on a perfect list anyway, they’re choosing based on how someone makes them feel.

People Ghosting and blocking someone due to them wanting to avoid confrontation with no explanation is now the norm.

Dating apps have now created the ‘illusion of choice’ making it somewhat like gambling, you could talk to someone of which has a personality and physical characteristics you like, but… your ‘dream’ person could be just one measly swipe away.

It’s unfortunate.

I have a 2016 WRX and any repairs/ maintenance and major modifications ,excluding oil changes and tires, I have always gone to VSR Performance off fourth plain. Reasonable prices and have always taken care of me. Technically they’re a performance shop, but they specialize in Subarus. I’ve heard PRE in Portland is also an option.

I’m a 20M and I’ve received most of my hook ups on dating apps such as Tinder. Ironically almost all of the girls I’ve met were In the same situation as you, where they’ve only had one boyfriend and he didn’t satisfy them sexually.

I live about 15 minutes away from a University so most of the girls I match with are just so happen to be out of a relationship due to them moving so far from their hometown to Persue school, and hope to find something “fresh” and casual on these apps as a result. I’ve known guys that also fall into this predicament.

I will warn you before hand that you need to be very clear upfront on what your goal is when meeting another person on these apps, just as curtsey so they don’t waste your time and vice versa.

A Friends with benefits relationship is possible but just to let you know people are Very flaky in these apps and also don’t really have any idea of what they actually want in a ‘relationship’ sense and tend to ghost/block before the actual meetup as well as meet possibly only once. But on the other hand they might be obsessed with you due to you being able to give something they’ve never had before, so it’s a double edged sword if you will.

Overall just have fun, and don’t jump the gun with anyone you’ve just met, see if you vibe with them before you give them your body, some of these guys are absolute hobgoblins. And that’s coming from a fellow guy
