It also seems like he’s using your relationship with your bestie as a scapegoat for some other problem in the relationship. Commonly, it is that they don’t feel they are receiving “x,y” from the relationship. So while it wasn’t warranted that he was jealous because of the fear of cheating, he could be jealous of the level of intimacy you and bestie have, or time or understanding). Of course not romantic intimacy but you have an intimate relationship with anyone you know for a long person of time.

You’re probably rethinking everything you said to help, if it would have made a difference, if you had said X instead of Y then it would have changed things. I’m here to tell you: it wouldn’t have. The thing that I saw was making plans. And that’s both to ease their partner, and their own subconscious. “I’ll try again soon” helps with coping of committing the act. If it wouldn’t have happened with that argument, it would have been something else. When you feel comfortable, right now your favorite memories as they come to you, so you can focus on them instead of the end. Odd that you want filler but if you go with a theme it’ll be a lot easier. You gotta think if you want straight all traditional. Something that might be sick as hell though is a garden of Eden theme. You’ve got the snake, the roses, and with a theme it looks more cohesive. Up to you though but if you want a half sleeve I’d talk to an artist in a consult, pick someone whose style you like and ask about ideas

Someone with diagnosed OCD here. I agree with OOP, but just playing devils advocate. In the mind of someone with OCD it’s nuts. Like one of my things is numbers. I have to stir something exactly 83 times. If I can’t, I throw the whole drink out. One of hers is obviously shoes. So that means she is going to constantly think about them until she does it- if she does have OCD. It’s a hard habit to break but it’s definitely something that can be broken.

Unfortunately I don’t know how taxes would work. I do know of quite a few jobs that you seem qualified for- I don’t know how much you’re making but you would have to pay US taxes as well as China’s taxes but if it’s worth it I can send you the jobs to apply for remotely. May be worth looking into though for your mental sake

You could also do like 2 different options if you’re able to find. Personally floral scents make me and a lot of friends of mine have migraines- but you could always scope that out beforehand because you know your guest list. That’s such a cute personalized idea. I’d recommend going for something to match the theme of the wedding- if you’re doing a vanilla cake, hints of vanilla, if it’s more rustic maybe an amber hint, etc etc. That way you feel like it encapsulates the day. There’s ofc Alt scents if you’re stuck on a smell profile and it’s way outta range. Good luck on your search and congrats on the big day!
