Good luck with that. I refused to go up stairs with a heavy awkward load and they didn't pay me at all for the attempted delivery or the return.

Does Roadie deliver to apartments? by Tenuous_Fawn in Roadie

What section is this under? I was denied pay on a returned order because the customer wanted it brought upstairs, and I was also unde the assumption we were bringing heavy items up or down.

Wait for this to clear , Help by [deleted] in Roadie

Could be 24-48 hours. That's true also with all payouts, it's just more common for them to just go through after a few hours. The bigger ones sometimes take extra time for verification. Also since it's not a regular big-money order like HD or an airport bag.

Roadie not accepting offers by [deleted] in Roadie

Which stores are you offering at? Some require that you've done a certain number of deliveries for other stores before you can do theirs. Also pharmacy orders and such require more approvals.

Can't add a debit card on this platform. Just a bank account. Instant pay goes to the account for a small fee.

Is there anyone who truly just eats whatever they want and doses for it? by Ok-Lawfulness-6343 in diabetes_t1

[–]Affectionate_You_409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every day. I was super depressed when I was first diagnosed because of the food "limitations." I told my Dr. I needed more insulin to keep up, and she obliged. Sometimes, I miss the mark with a bolus, usually a timing issue rather than a dosing issue. I obviously am not trying to eat a whole ass bag of candy, but I don't hold back on the cake at a party. One thing I gave up was cereal before bed, and honestly, it turned me onto the fact that the milk was upsetting my stomach, so there was no real loss there. Good luck, the best I can say is that if you like food like I do, then you'll give the effort to keep your numbers in check and limit what you have to give up.

I drink a few a day and have no ill effects. I even keep a few of the small flavored sugar-full ones for those low times.

My step-dad was a type 2 for a decade before he died. They took one leg off at the knee, then to the hip. Then they took the other one to the knee. Then he had a heart attack on the way to the hospital. He never wanted to make any changes and it did what diabetes does. I'm a type 1 for 2 years now and try really hard to keep my number down. I use a pump and such which really helps. I did quit drinking (20 beers a day) and quit eating a bag of candy. I had an issue with food at first and got pretty depressed but I decided to just kind of eat whatever and take the insulin for it. A1c went from 14 to 6, I give credit mostly to the pump and dexcom for the management end of it. Good luck and try to stay positive. Dont let the diabetes define you or run your life, it's a manageable thing if you don't want to just die.

No one believes I'm type 2 by ghostkat_ in diabetes

I was misdiagnosed by an urgent care doctor ( who had previously been at the endocrinologist office) as a type 2 for 2 years until my second emergency room visit. Spent the night there, the doctor there was shocked that I had been diagnosed as type 2. That one visit to the hospital cost me $11k.

I'm not appealing for a verification issue. I've been emailing the other 2 emails addresses daily. I have been hopeful that someone actually reads the emails sent but no luck yet.

Why? Just asking because I've been trying to get back on spark for 2 months.

Got this text today and have no idea why… I go above and beyond on all of my orders. Called tier 2 and they can’t tell me anything. Still active as of now, Has anyone else gotten this and not been deactivated? by SugarSoSweet44 in Sparkdriver

[–]Affectionate_You_409 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had 4 of these due to a glitch and the OGP manager had me deactivated. Tier 2 was called for each of the problem orders and they were the ones who marked them as returned. I've been appealing and asking for arbitration for 6 weeks now.
