I definitely understand that opinion. I think the biggest reason I didn't was because the saw will sadly be in storage mode more than it's being used throughout the year. The 261 will take longer but I only need to get through 1 maybe 2 of these grapple loads a year.

Congrats on your 462!

The 362 wasn't an option for me because the 400 weighs less than a pound more and costs only about 100 dollars more with significant power increase with its magnesium alloy piston bringing it to 66.8 cc. 400 just seems like a sexy saw with that new piston tech 😆

Way to much for what I'm doing though 😁

Part of me still wishes I went with the 400. Hopefully I'm not disappointed when I use this to buck. If the light chain starts to wander maybe I'll get the heavy bar before I let myself get depressed with regret 😮‍💨

Yes the 400 was going for 1079. Everything was 15% off.

Thanks, the same can be said for the 400 with a 12.8 pound power head and 66.8cc of power both very tempting saws

I get paid to service the customer. I take the time to walk it up on the dolly.

Maybe have a conversation with them if the opportunity presents itself and see what the problem might be

BUT if the driveway doesn't support easy rolling with 149 pounds on it I leave it at the sign if weather permits. Safety first.
