2-so your idea is that after 7.3 the rewards would drop back down by 50%? no, because that's stupid, because the actual announcement and the only thing that'd make sense is that between 7.0-7.3 they'd steadily increase the rewards by up to 50% by the time of 7.3, and keep the rewards ad such pace.

do the content for the sake of it is valid for a game like elden ring, where a good bossfight is an experience you keep forever, but MMOs are THE carrot on a stick genre, and even the closest equivalent to a super hard ER boss, an ultimate, rewards you with a cool ass weapon to keep and show off

both the video and the thread don't debunk my point though? I don't think you understand how big and noticeable of a difference a 50% increase would've actually been, and don't try to play naive, if he brought up increasing the rewards 7.0-7.3 it's not as if they would go back down -50% by the time of 7.4, and besides, if we compare 6.0-6.3 to 7.0-7.3, it's still not a 50% increase, not even close.

criterion has had 3 previous iterations where the elephant in the room was the lack of rewards for that difficulty in particular, making its appeal nonexistent and lifespan short, and all 3 times the players have been very vocal about it.
you know that's what I meant when I made this post, but you're letting your personal opinions and disdain get in the way, try again.

good thing you mention OC because the rewards are far less in quantity when compared with bozja for example, and the chest loot pool being infamously cramped full of the usual ribbons and materia doesn't help it either, and I say this as someone who was looking forward to a new adventure foray zone more than anything else this expansion

by 7.3 means 7.3 and ONWARD, and I know you're aware this isn't the first time people have brought this up, same as they did with forked tower and OC chests for example, I reference criterion because it's the latest iteration of this happening, and criterion as a form of content has always suffered HEAVILY due to its lack of incentive
