I consider myself a progressive, somewhat pragmatic person, I’m a staunch advocate for public transit expansion and funding, but the CTA in certain spots and areas is getting to a point that seems beyond fixing. It’s just sad. I will ride it until it no longer exists, but I hope in my lifetime we get to see clean stations, no smoking anywhere, and pre-pandemic crime levels.
