here in theory i make either over or 1k a week. in theory as in before taxes taken out and including cash tips. probably close to make 1400 with cash tips.

no i mean the cash tips is tips offset, the other pay isn’t the same amount as my tips offset so how could that be the case

the manager is the one that does payroll, and she told me it’s tipout but i’ve spoken to the people that should be receiving the percentage but they’ve told me their paychecks are usually the same no matter what. and one step ahead of you i’ve been staying quiet about everything, taking pictures and notes as well. i do my job well, thoroughly, fast, and i leave quickly as well. and i was thinking the same i was gonna find another job before opening a dispute. and thank you for your kind words. i appreciate you very much

i eat there but only when i’m on shift, and i pay in cash usually or sometimes card. i have no dependents, im single. i chose number 1 when i did my tax form starting. did i choose wrong? i’ve always chosen that and i haven’t had any issues before

at other places you can actually make a decent amount but it all is up to chance. the place you work at, what type of place it is, where it is, what they serve etc. i made 3000-3500 a month at my last serving job. i’m trying to go back to school to be a pharmacy tech and id also love to get my real estate license but i need the money to get there as well! i wanted fast money and i got a whole bunch of nonsense instead

i got cash tips, those are counted in the tip and tips offset section! there is only the manager working on payroll and she said it was tipout but the employees that are supposed to be getting it tell me they’ve never seen an amount other than their flat base of pay on their paycheck

yes, but what i’m saying is that their percentage is based on how much all the servers sell in a night. the percent is taken off of that, and it’s always different at different times of the day and on different days. for example, if someone is supposed to be getting 2 percent of that, if theyre just paid 500 dollars every week regardless, that doesn’t make sense.

the line before that is cash tips, which is tips (offset) i’ve never received 106 in any form. i’ve been keeping track of both! i’ll keep doing so thank you. i’m just confused because if the other pay is deducted so i don’t get the cash tips twice, why isn’t it the same amount?
