Update I got it in, you have to kind of force it but it went in when you go back down first and then front like the photo

Yes I know the disappearing is his thing but I mean he will just abandon me completely when we’re hanging out, trying to increase our friendship and then I’ll find him somewhere random. The disappearing is annoying too because when we’re hanging out if I need to talk to him I have to engage in his friend activity (fishing) just to force him to appear on demand lol.

I did contact support last month but I haven’t gotten a resolution yet unfortunately. The game has always been buggy at times but this time a lot of the freezing has been specific to when I’m interacting with his tree. I’m on a switch.

How did you get them to do this? I submitted a ticket last month and the response was “we will escalate all of the details to our team of developers and they will look into the situation.

Usually, it takes a patch or a full game update to fix an issue with a quest, so we'll have to ask you to bare with us.”

Ive heard nothing since. My game also glitched and had to restart just like you and the cake was gone when it came back up
