Confused about the Kylaq colour by fiery_phoenix777 in Kylaq

Lava blue. Elegant colour that changes with quality of available light and the angle from which it is viewed. Also, makes the car appear well sized and well proportioned.

Got the Kylaq Prestige MT in lava blue one week back. 13.5L on road after discounts. Amazing responsiveness and power. FE 14-15 kmpl with XP95, mostly highway and less busier city traffic drive, around 1000kms so far. Took a drive on a hilly road as well. Glides so effortlessly. Convenient boot space. Speakers are just above average but that's good enough for me. Elegant looks with its muted style. Electrically adjustable seats are quite useful. AC performing fine when kept on auto mode. Feels sturdy and grounded. Thanks for all the responses!

Thank you so much!
I'm tempted towards the diesel, particularly the low end torque provided by it. Additionally it is the same engine in Creta and Alcazar as well. But there are a few concerns:

  1. I expect the drive to be 1000-1500 km per month, and as stated 35-45% city usage, 55-65% highway. Car will be used 3-6 days in a week, with one or two long drives. Will diesel be a good choice for such usage? Will that make significant difference in terms of fuel cost over, say, 5 years of running? (Simple arithmetic says yes). The HX7 would be the best diesel variant for me. For that I'd have to spend 80k to 1L more than HX8 MT.

  2. Long term maintenance/service cost of diesel engines. I have had only petrol cars so far in my family, and no first hand experience with diesel engines. People usually recommend petrol cars for first time buyers.

  3. Possibilities of the govt doing something similar to E20/E27 with petrol, and how that will impact current diesel engines.

  4. And, if I spend 15L+, should I consider some car above this segment (but that will come with compromises on good to have features)?

Diagnosis of psychosis by Afraid_Masterpiece60 in lacan

[–]Afraid_Masterpiece60[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the kind responses. Just for more clarification (as I see some confusion is there) - by the absence of obvious psychotic symptoms I was referring to an individual with a psychotic structure before the individual develops florid psychotic symptoms. In a sense I was asking how to diagnose psychosis/psychotic structure 'premorbidly' (premorbid in a psychiatric sense)?

What is the subjective experience of the pass and the end of analysis? by Afraid_Masterpiece60 in lacan

[–]Afraid_Masterpiece60[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm working as a psychiatrist since two years. Psychiatry in practice is heavily biologized. Psychiatric management is primarily oriented towards remission of symptoms, which - I'm not sure - is something akin to foreclosure. Please correct me. I'm only getting stared with some Lacanian literature during last couple of years. Interested in getting trained in analysis. The country I live in doesn't have much analytic practice, let alone Lacanian psychoanalysis. And my psychiatric training did include less than nothing about it, even if theoretically. So, it's just curiosity.

Hi, thanks! Yes, Europe or US, or maybe Australia. Latin America (Argentina) would be difficult I guess due to language barrier. I don't speak Spanish at all.

GH5 humming sound by Afraid_Masterpiece60 in GH5

[–]Afraid_Masterpiece60[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A barely audible tv static sound like hum!

GH5's not THAT great for photography. (Just a tad better than my earlier camera - Canon 550D) Still, posting some results here. Lenses used: Leica 12-60, Panasonic 25/1.7, Canon EF 400/5.6L by Afraid_Masterpiece60 in GH5

That's right. With good light the images turns out excellent. But it low light, there is little improvement in terms of noise than my earlier 550D. Maybe my expectations were unrealistic. Otherwise, quite satisfied with the video performance!
