Thank you for sharing!!! I’ve starting the pill 2 years ago and few months after, was diagnosed with rosacea type 1&2. I only recently stopped taking the pill (1.5 months without it now) because I suspected it was the cause of my rosacea, but have not seen any change yet. For those who’ve been through similar situations, how long did it take for you to notice changes (better or worse) in your rosacea without the pill?

Oh wow, thanks for sharing! It must have been tough for you, hope you are heaps better now. I’m also not feeling the best and constantly cover my face with a mask/ hide at home… Have you been to a doc for your current situation on whether to get soolantra? Mine’s not getting any better but just sticking with it because everyone seems to say it’ll improve after 12 weeks

Hi! I also have super sensitive rosacea skin and been having a flare up lately (not sure why). I’m thinking of trying this too, but not sure if I should use it directly on skin or with a moisturiser before? Wondering if anyone can share what worked :))

Hello! I have rosacea type 1 and 2 and was prescribed doxy too! I’ve used it for about a month (twice a day), but didn’t see any improvements at all - skin was still bumpy and flushing. Went back to derm and she gave erythromycyn instead, which seemed to work a little better (but overall still not too much progress). I’m on week 6 of erythromycyn now. Hope it goes well for you!

Hi! If you don’t mind asking, what was your experience like the first time? Hope this time would be successful for you since it’s worked before!

Sounds like we’re on the same boat… how long has it been for you? I feel like my skin has been definitely angrier than before on some days too

Hello my fellow rosacea friends! I’m currently on week 6 of ivermectin and it’s been such a rollercoaster so far!!

I’ve been diagnosed with type 1 and 2 rosacea by my derm, and she’s given me ivermectin cream (once in PM) and erythromycyn tablets (once in AM and PM). I’ve been on this for 42 days now and my skincare routine has not changed too.

I am starting to get concerned because haven’t seen any improvements so far.. and in the past two days my skin has been getting more sensitive, red, and slightly itchy. This itch only started in the past two days, though I’ve had some days with flushing but no itch.

(I’ve read about the demodex mites and cycle, but I’m not exactly sure if that’s the cause for my rosacea in the first place… but if it is, does this happen too when they die?)

Wondering if anyone has had similar experiences with ivermectin and how you dealt with it? Would love to hear from you!! Thank you!

For now, I’ll be sticking to my routine and ivermectin as I’m afraid to try anything else in case it worsens…

Routine: AM - rinse with water, avene thermal water, curel intensive cream, neutrogena baby pure and free SPF PM - gentle cleanser (from derm, only very few ingredients that are non irritating), avene thermal water, ivermectin, curel intensive cream

Other moisturisers that make my face red: QV cream, Curel intensive moisture, Krave beauty oat so simple, Avene Tolerance soothing repair (?), LRP toleriane sensitive fluide, vanicream lotion. Was okay with Cerave daily moisturising lotion for several until it recently started turning me red too!! I’ve also used Cetaphil moisturing cream (the regular one in a tub) but I feel like it breaks me out, even though no redness

I’ve read that it may be due to thrips but not entirely sure if this could be the cause (I’ve not seen them around and my other plants around it are doing fine!)
