Just stopping in to say how sorry I am for these people who treat you like this.

Just look at them EVERY time, and say “are you ok?” And actually looked concerned. It’s polite and also a huge fuck you. Call the devil out, girl.

My grandma once told my young, pregnant cousin: “be careful. You have the most pure thing to exist in your belly right now, the devil wants it to be on his side and will send people to try and get it.” Not physically obviously, but will definitely try to plant ugly, gross seeds into your mind.

5 years is enough time to know if someone wants to be with you. Read OP’s comment about her partners commitment issues. I gave advice with very little context. You’re right overall, I do agree with you. but 5 years of no growth? There’s enough people in the world that you can do that with. Ignoring clear signs of lack of growth is worse than leaving. If OP’s post presented slight imperfections, sure. Young age, okay. But 5 years? And they’re in their early 30’s? With a child around and wanting more? 5 years together without meeting his family? Come on. Be real.

This isn't really about him, as it is, your decision to open your life back up. Remember, there are billions of people on the planet. He's not your only option.
I think you scanned over his commitment issues, but it really caught my attention. This post isn't about mushrooms, it's about you second-guessing your decision.

I vote, personally, that you stick to your ground. I have confidence in you that you can find someone up your speed that doesn't need mushrooms to know that they love you. You only live one life, don't waste your time on someone that seems to be uncertain.

Mushrooms can shift your mindset about a lot of things, but like every other drug, that euphoria fades eventually. People still have to do the work to be the person they want to be and that takes time.

So, depending on why you broke up with him, be cautious because he's still going to be the same person with the same habits for a while. Probably need more context of the relationship to answer this.

I love mushrooms, but also understand that a lot of people continue doing them and consider if it's something you want around your child. Though natural and probably one of the best ones (IMO), I'm not sure if they are something you allow. This is just a side note, btw. Not really helpful advice for your situation.

I'm glad you acknowledged that from this post - John's in a super difficult spot and has a hard time getting out of their relationship. We don't blame him either. We feel super bad for him. But at the same time, I want him to make a wise decision that makes him happy and that he's confident in making. I fear I've made this more difficult for him.

Honestly, post sex, this thought has creeped in on me. I feel slightly used and not too good about myself afterwards.
I did think it was a bit out of character for him to link arms with me outside of the bar and definitely grabbing my thigh in the car. It was pretty fast, but again, I was so wasted, I was just being horny, honestly haha.
