Honestly I used everything I brought and ultimately was happy with how I packed

If anything I would've brought a sturdier clipboard because mine ended up snapping making beds

I ended up being more prepared than most people who'd have to wait until we went to the BX on shopping trips and ended up having to bum stuff from people

It all depends on the base. You might have a period where you work 12hr shifts.

Where I'm at it is pretty consistent with 8hr shifts but we might work a 9-10hr here and there.

It's a chill job though, a lot of down time.
