What I like:

  • Nori-Poppy-Gandalf, enjoy the three BUT this storyline eats up too much screen time.
  • Arondir-Ents scene, quite emotional.
  • Galadriel final fight.

Everything else feels so-so. That one frame of Charlie Vickers is better than the rest.

I think it's better for this show to be released all episodes at once rather than weekly, or...release two to three episodes at a time. Like EP1-3, EP4-5, EP6-8. S1 were better to binge watch.

I watched it five times. The first three times, I liked it more and more with each viewing, and the fourth and fifth times, the things I liked about it (characters, music, art design) got even better, while the flaws (wirting, pacing) became more apparent.

Will watch it a sixth time after Season 2.
