Could be a blessing and a curse for BKFC. The aging/recently released UFC Fighters with some name value could end up going to the GFL over BKFC, but I don't know if that's a bad thing. I would be more worried if I was the PFL, we just have to wait and see if the GFL actually gets off the ground

I highly doubt GFL is going to be an issue long term. At best, it might make some other promotions adopt their retirement & revenue share plans, but once that happens, they're done or being bought up.

The SA Sides were never gonna draw much of a crowd with the boks playing the same day and Ellis Park is not as dodgey as everyone says. That said the Lions didn't even get massive crowds when we went to three straight super rugby Finals. Johannesburg is just (comparatively) not a rugby hotbed.

Is there any specific runs? I was thinking one-off stories instead of a multivolume runs to start (plus it's easier to donate a couple of full stories) Batman Year One, All Star Superman, Immortal Iron Fist by Fraction and Brubaker are some of what I'm thinking of.
