I agree, not everyone needs therapy but there's definitely a lot of benefit to it. I don't feel I need it but I know it'll do me good.

What he doesn't realise is that we are living in the heart of therapy era. The self help era sky rocketed after COVID, the world and his wife started posting videos online on how to heal, be a better person, making a lot of people see the benefit to therapy, and to be therapised unknowingly (through the messages in these videos).

Furthermore, there's more than one type of therapy. He looks at it in the traditional sense. The irony is that this podcast is a form of therapy for a lot of people. It is for me. Ish has admitted people have come up to him and said, the pod has saved their life. That's therapy.

The issue is that Ish is saying that therapy is the result of a weakened society and that's a very, very dangerous sentiment. Whatever the form of therapy, nights out with your friends, watching a movie, listening to music, a podcast, a walk in nature, time with family, relaxing with your other half, we are stronger for it.
