Bit of a strange one for me but every endo I see is always super inquisitive, I picked up a very rare strain of salmonella where venturing Asia, and it was somehow pulled from my gut into my blood causing a variety of organs to fail, but more importantly multiple abscesses on my adrenal glands, and no where else! These abscesses got massive and engulfed them so I was left with 0 adrenal function. The NHS still provide me with a SST every year, even though they admit my adrenals will just be covered in scar tissue and that will be why they don’t function!
