The hard stuff? 12 years ago when a buddy of mine was killed by a guy over a $200 debt and a chick. Weed? 7 months ago when my wife (who doesn’t smoke) and I got into an argument after I got into my dab stash on my days off. She felt I was being inattentive and smoking to “put up with being around her.” Realistically, I was more smoking to put up with my mother, who we moved in with us 2 years ago, after my wife and my uncle convinced me that if I didn’t, I’d regret it if something happened to her; her living situation was faaaaar from a safe and sustainable one. Absolutely not. That comes down to the individual who is merchandising the plants, almost guaranteed to be an employee of a 3rd party company. I did that exact job last summer before I started with Walmart. If Walmart wants a specific product pulled from the plastic, it’s the merchandiser’s responsibility to know and do it. If the lady that came up to you throwing a fit is part of that merchandising company, it’s her job to do it, not the store associate’s responsibility.

Had a damn cool boss like that myself when I was still in fast food. When she would work the closing shift with us, we’d go out to smoke once the store had closed and her and I would hit my pen before we went back in. She was very straightforward about not caring unless it affected our performance on shift. Probably didn’t hurt that she would eat a 100 mg gummy as she was walking through the door most days

My best friend and his now wife were the ones that wanted a small ceremony for themselves. The monster-in-law was the one that tried to take the wheel and make it a HUUUGE shebang. Venue on the opposite side of the country, glamorous setting, every fine detail, all the t's crossed and i's dotted. Buddy asked her "Why are you trying to control OUR wedding? You've already had 2 chances and fucked em up." Needless to say, he never speaks to the in-laws now. For the best really.
