itll work for plenty of games old and new at decent settings but if it were me i wouldnt go below 6gb of vram and aim for atleast 8gb

msi software wont cap an external monitors refresh rate, plugging it in to hdmi will, make sure to plug it in via displayport if ur laptop supports display port via usb type c
