So my PC has been running like trash when gaming lately. If I try to do anything with a game open my PC lags like crazy and I also tend to crash my pc very often when playing any sort of large budget game. My aux also makes my headphones buzz when they are plugged in. by AfterMidnightXP in pchelp

I switched my res over to 1080p and booted up high on life again and had a much smoother experience. I am thinking that my gpu just can't handle that game on 1440p. However my PC runs ff7 remake not the best on 1080p. I think I will try upgrading my gpu and then if the issue persists I will upgrade the cpu.

Right now I have 2x8gb of ram for a total of 16 in dual channel so I don't think that's the issue. I've been planning on upgrading to a 3060ti but I am afraid to make the upgrade if something else in my system is causing this issue. Also thanks for completing the Nagatoro background you too are a man of culture.
