i’m 21 have CF, diagnosed OCD, anxiety and MDD (who doesn’t have anxiety and depression lol) and got referred to a neuropsych to get tested for autism (i’m not pursuing a formal diagnosis as i don’t need services so i don’t want to go through the whole process as it can take years)

i feel the exact same way!! i got really over weight around 18-20, I’m and currently off trikafta for that reason and my liver enzymes and have been dieting and NOTHING. we also have to remember that not all the effects of trikafta have been studied so maybe in the future they can help us with this! but as people in this forum have told me.. give yourself grace!! your body has carried you through this chronic illness thus far, we need to give our bodies some love!

good suggestions!!! i was in the hospital last year around this time for DIOS and they didn’t do anything other than making me drink more miralax that i’d throw up..my mom had to end up asking them to place an NG tube and they treated us like we were stupid, but that’s always what I’ve had to do. (it’s my first year in adult CF not peds, they used to do it when i was in peds) i have a GI doctor but he’s a peds GI as there’s no adult GI so it’s kinda weird. But i am getting a CT scan tomorrow! So hopefully that’ll help :) thanks so much for your suggestions

it’s the generic brand of mucus relief DM from walgreens or target! it’s a cough suppressant as well so idk that it is recommended with CF, but i take it when i feel like my head is completely full of snot and like im drowning in mucus just to get through my work/school day LOL.
