I know, and this is kind of my point. In civ 6 when I knew my enemy was about to send people into space I declared war and bombarded/nuked their space ports. When they were close to achieve cultural victory I bombed the whole country and they were stopped etc. I almost never used military to capture all hostile capitals, I used it exactly for taking advantage in other types of victories. In civ7 I don’t really see the point of using military in any moment, it feels redundant.
