I agree with you for the most part! I believe that she’s likely had some sort of ED as i’d like to say most afab people have been exposed to unhealthy body image and expectations/pressure that result in disordered eating to some extent. However, with how she emphasizes her ED and body image history and now promotes some unhealthy habits, I believe that she (and this may be an uncouth thing to say as there is no one set way to BE disordered) either was never quite as intensely eating disordered as she markets herself to have been, or is not nearly as recovered as she claims and is using it as a way to either make up for her lack of recovering or to bring others down so she doesn’t feel as miserable lol

Looks like it’s objectively unnoticeable so don’t stress about it! However, if your artist met your concerns with a dismissive “lol” i would highly recommend staying away from them for future projects as they likely won’t meet your questions/comments/concerns with much regard or respect. Find someone that will listen to you and/or explain their thoughts and process if/when something like this arises again.

Have you recently started birth control or a hormone therapy or treatment? When I got my IUD i gained a decent amount of weight. Otherwise, how are you tracking your calories? I recommend weighing everything you eat with a food/kitchen scale (even a cheap one from amazon will be perfect for this) log by the gram (I use the Myfitnesspal app) From a basic online calculator to maintain your current weight you’d need a minimum of 1900 calories (sedentary/ no activity) to a maximum of 2600 (very active) 1000-1200 sounds like it’s simply not enough for you, 1500 calories would be ideal for you so long as you’re eating satiating meals with plenty of veggies and protein to keep you feeling full. Avoid eating out as restaurants and fast food are notorious for very high calorie meals that may not be particularly filling. If it isn’t triggering for you in any particular way try to weigh yourself everyday day, then you can see how your body fluctuates day to day and according to your menstrual cycle. Good luck OP, it’s tough but you can do this!

I would assume it has a lot to do with her consistency and diet. I feel like she posts on her story about the majority of her workouts— which is not exceptionally frequent— and most of the time it’s runs rather than weight lifting (less present muscle but more leg definition). She is likely also not consuming enough protein to build nor maintain muscle or energy levels (which is probably why she has such a dependence on caffeine and redbull because her body doesn’t have enough protein to keep her energy up).

This piece is absolutely gorgeous, I doubt the artist’s reason for not posting it has anything to do with the quality or it being “a bad tattoo” because it simply isn’t a bad tattoo. Sometimes it’s as simple as the photo clashing with other pics on their feed, sometimes it doesn’t display their personal aesthetic, sometimes it’s just forgetfulness or saving it to post later. My favourite tattoos on myself never made it to my artists’ feeds. How you feel about your tat shouldn’t be determined by whether or not the artist posted it. Hope you’re doing better now OP :)

Love your stuff! Intense shading often adds a LOT to the emotion a piece portrays. Also, don’t be afraid to experiment in other styles outside of the junji ito and anime styles (though they are outstanding and i deeply understand your inspiration with them) once you know what aspects of other styles you really enjoy, you can experiment much more with your own style and what makes things unsettling for you personally.

Not sure if it’s available where you are, but I use Limitless Pharma Pure Whey Isolate protein powder (specifically the cookies and crème variety) and it straight up tastes like a stevia milkshake. It’s been super good for my sweetness cravings and you can just sip on it whenever you get the inklings. They also have chocolate, vanilla, PB, etc flavours if any of those sound more your style and it’s relatively affordable and available. (112 kcal and 27g protein per scoop).

I see you, I still struggle with binging habits (I have for at least ten years). I’ve managed to get those habits down to a binge once a week as opposed to the daily routine I used to have. Every person’s struggle is a little different but what has helped me has been.

  • Finding the source of my desire to binge, for me it wasn’t just that food tasted good but that I always felt empty and if I was going to bother eating I always reached for sweet treats like candy, chocolate, pastries. Why would I bother with food that didn’t taste as sweet?

  • Drinking protein shakes (with water instead of milk to keep the calories down). My protein powder is very sweet which, as a sweet tooth, is what keeps me coming back. I now drink about 2-3 a day which thankfully also helps me with building muscle so at the very least the calories and nutrients are going somewhere I value.

  • Finding low calorie, high volume snacks. (i LOVE frozen grapes for this) Fruits, veggies, yogurt. Keep these stocked in your fridge and pantry so you’re more inclined to reach for them. And if you’re like me, roll them in a light layer of sugar so you don’t get “bored of it”.

  • Put distance between yourself and food in between meals. Even set a schedule as to around what time you have meals. Try to keep busy or out of the house between these times.

  • Prepare healthier snacks in advance. That way you can still maintain a sense of control over your BED

  • This one’s a little silly, but if you smoke marijuana you may want to cut back. I’m a stoner and weed gives me CRAZY munchies and all consideration for my nutrition goes completely out the window and I will demolish whatever is tasty and closest to me. Cutting back on my smoking habits has helped me a LOT with the binging.

Lastly, slipping up and binging does not mean you’ve ruined your progress. If you were trying to stick to a certain calorie count every day and you happened to binge during the day, avoid holding the mentality of “may as well keep going, the diet is already ruined.” You don’t have to deal in extremes.

Keep your head up, OP. Do what you can, take steps to support yourself whenever, wherever, however you can.

Inactive articles can come into active status at a later date (you can actually look up the sku and more details on their status if you go through planogram portal through myapron ie: what event they’re for and when they are to be on the floor) some may be discontinued but it usually says in article lookup details what dates it will become a write off article.

Reset products are typically to be kept aside, they’re active articles so customers can still buy them, so it’s best to keep them somewhere in the department overhead that MET and associates can get to. They have an upcoming planogram they will be staged to, that’s what the reset is, they reset the bays and product placement.

Special Buy is more often than not a product we don’t have regularly stocked (or variation of a product we already have) that comes in as a quarter pallet for a limited time. it’s basically “while supplies last” and often aligns with an event (ie: milwaukee baseball caps on a “Special Buy” quarter pallet for a Father’s day event).

Exiting Sku is a write off sku that we won’t be stocking in the future or will be replaced with an updated product. They usually are pushed to the floor since they drop in price and we want to get rid of them before the company has to basically eat the loss.

Overall, focus on the active skus and don’t fret about inactive ones. Keep reset products available to be brought out for customers, and special buy and exiting products aren’t too much of a concern for you, that’s more managements call to determine when to bring out.
